Smoothies are a great way to compliment your busy schedule and still maintain healthy eating habits. Although, whole plant based foods are the best way to go.. sometimes you just don’t have the time or need a little change up.
Try one of these five smoothie recipes to jumpstart your day:
For all of these smoothie recipes, just simply toss into your blender or vitamix. I love my vitamix. Feel free to add in more liquid base to reach the consistency that you prefer. Smoothies are fun and fluid (literally) in how they can be made. I say time and time again, the options are endless with smoothies!
Superfood Goji-berry Smoothie
- 1 cup of each: strawberry, blueberry, raspberry
- 1/4 cup dried goji berries (let them soak in coconut milk for 10 minutes to soften)
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp chia seed
- ice (optional)
Toss all ingredients in your blender/vitamix and blend. Enjoy!
Tropical Green Smoothie
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup mango
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 cups baby spinach
- ice (optional)

Carrot Cake Smoothie
- 1 cup (roughly 2 handfuls) baby carrots
- 3 tsp shredded, unsweetened coconut
- 1 frozen ripe banana
- 1/2 cup pineapple
- 2 pitted dates (or 1 tbsp maple syrup for sweetener)
- 1 small knob of fresh ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup cashew milk
- ice (optional)

Orange Dream-cicle Smoothie
- 2 oranges, peeled
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
- ice (optional)

- 1 sliced, cored apple
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tsp maple syrup
