No-waste Health Hack: Super Easy Apple Peel Crisps
Good morning Monday. I am one of those weird people that love Mondays. Its the start of a brand new week and what’s a better start to your week than a SUPER EASY recipe! I don’t really consider this a legit recipe because it is so easy.. more like a no-waste, health hack.
Take a moment to make these, you won’t regret it.
If you caught one of my favorite recipes, (Apple Butter)… you’ll be really glad you tried making it.. But what do you do with all those peels? Apple peels contain a lot of really great nutritional stuff in them. I could devote an entire post to those alone, and maybe just will! Here’s a great opportunity to put those peels to use and create a great little treat to top oats, smoothie bowls, and even chia pudding cups with for a power packed snack!
Toss all those apple peels on a cookie sheet or some sort bake sheet. Sprinkle with apple pie spice or just cinnamon until your heart desires. Bake at 300 degrees for 60 minutes. VIOLA. Amazingness. Sprinkle with shredded coconut for a little sweetness and no processed sugar for the best version!
