When this is posted, I will be glammed up, competing in the WA Ironman, when in actuality it is Sunday, Sept 18th. I am sprawled across my workspace, planner out, to-do lists piling up-- staying ahead of the game.

A Brief D&D on Dairy. Just took some beautiful, NON dairy, plantbased cupcakes out of the oven..and it hit me hard. I am flabbergasted at the audacity of commercializing dairy through a spelling bee, as it utilizes pure reductionism while dampening the deleterious side of milk and bastardizes milk alternatives.

Plant Based Banter. With investigations of cruel conditions on factory farms making headlines, flooding Instagram, and a growing body of research on the benefits of plant foods, plant based lifestyles (Veganism) are looking good to many people.

Dealing with Detox. As I scroll through my Instagram, I'm reminded how much phony and just plain bad information that social media "gurus" put out there concerning diet/lifestyle. How many poor souls are hoodwinked by false claims from the "skinny tea" or latest detox.

Putting away the processed. Resisting cravings can be a daunting task daily, especially if you have grown accustomed to eating highly processed foods as part of your normal diet. Once you understand a little more about how these and other processed foods affect you, it becomes easier to make healthier choices.
