When you feel thirst.. it is most likely that your body is already slight dehydrated. Starting your day off with a glass of water has numerous benefits. Reaching for water is an incredibly healthy and efficient way to detox the body. Opt for pure, filtered water versus tap water. Even bottled water is under regulated. All of your body’s functions require hydration. Therefore in order to feel your best, you want to stay hydrated to:

Reduce skin issues such as: acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, and even combat premature aging. Staying adequately hydrated, your skin will also be glowing! Dehydrated, the skin will hold on to toxins. You will experience irritation, inflammation, congestion, and more blotchiness.  

Soothe your digestion: Proper hydration can assist in eliminating and reducing ulcers, bloating, gas, gastritis, acid reflux, and IBS. Want less constipation? Water helps moves things more quickly through our digestive tracts. 

Decrease your bladder or kidney infections: water helps to flush out any unwanted bacteria or microbes that accumulate.  

Boost your energy levels: water is one of the most important sources of energy for the body.  

Cushion your joints: part of our cartilage is made up of water, so if we don’t drink enough of it, we feel stiff. Proper hydration increases your body’s ability to repair joints and injuries during rest and repair.
