Health Benefits of Ginger Turmeric Tea.
Ginger’s root is what you’re most likely familiar, not the actual flowering plant. Used as a seasoning or flavoring in food, it is also a traditional remedy. Ginger possesses a hot and spicy taste. Ginger is widely used as a remedy is for GI disturbances ranging from nausea to bloat, and even respiratory symptoms.
Turmeric is also a part of the ginger family. It’s native to India, and the root is utilized often in Indian curries. Remedies associated with turmeric include treatment of indigestion, colds, liver problems, and skin ailme.
The amazing addition to my tea tool kit has been so benefiting. Here are some of my favorites:
- Longevity: there has been some research that has shown significant implications that the compound curcumin in turmeric increases lifespan.
- Anti-inflammatory: the anti-inflammatory power of turmeric rivals conventional drugs ibuprofen and aspirin. It has been found to be stronger and with fewer side effects.
- Blood glucose regulation: turmeric has an effect on blood sugar and insulin within the body and aids in regulation.
- Anti-cancer properties: ginger and turmeric extracts had the ability to inhibit the growth of cancerous tumors.
- Brain boosting and Alzheimer’s prevention.
- Heart health: prevents stroke and heart attack. Also can lower cholesterol.
- Anti bacterial & Anti fungal: ginger’s antibacterial ability versus common antibiotics. Turmeric is also one of the strongest herbal anti-fungals.
- Improves mood and fights depression.
