Blueberry Kiwi Mint Smoothie. Refreshing and Anti-inflammatory.

Make this refreshing, sweet, minty smoothie for breakfast. It’s loaded with antioxidants and anti inflammatory benefits.

Blueberries are full of all the health promoting elements: fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin C, and vitamin B6. This phytonutrient content and lack of cholesterol supports heart health. Fiber also helps to reduce the total amount of cholesterol in the blood. Decreasing total amount of cholesterol through nutrition decreases YOUR risk for heart disease.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1-2 kiwi, peeled
  • 2 large mint leaves
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla powder or extract
  • 1 serving vanilla vegan protein powder
  • 1-2 cups almond milk
  • 1-2 cups spinach/greens

Blend in vitamix and enjoy!!

PRO TIP: prepare all your ingredients into containers, freeze. Simply pull out of the freezer and toss into your blender for an easy, convenient morning!

One of the things I really like to do as well is SMOOTHIE PREP: to make several servings and keep in the fridge for 2-3 days in recyclable jars. I can simply grab and go in the morning. This is especially effective when I know my schedule is hectic for 2-3 days in a row and I just don’t have a ton of time in the morning.
